This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Allegra website and booking service, why, who we share it with, and how long we keep it.
Who we are
Allegra is a crewed catamaran chartering in the British Virgin Islands. She is owned and operated by Resolute Wind LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). Resolute Wind LLC is responsible for the personal information described here. Contact: info@allegra-yacht.com.
This policy covers our website, www.allegra-yacht.com, and our booking service at api.allegra-yacht.com, which lets AI assistants book charters for their users.
The website
Contact form
- We collect your name, email, subject and message.
- Your message is emailed to us by our email delivery provider, and may be copied to the yacht's management company so they can help answer.
- We use it only to reply to you.
Newsletter
- If you subscribe, we store your email with our email marketing provider.
- Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Analytics and cookies
- We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It uses cookies and collects details such as pages viewed, device and browser, approximate location and how you found us. We do not use it to identify you.
- These are the only cookies the website sets. The site works fully if you block them in your browser.
- To opt out of Google Analytics on every site, use Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Technical information
- Our web host receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- The site's fonts load from Google's font service, which also receives your IP address.
The booking service
Registration and sign-in
- To book, you register with your first name, last name, phone number and email.
- We keep your email address to contact you about your requests and bookings, and to send you other information relevant to your charter, such as changes to the yacht.
- There are no passwords. We email you a one-time sign-in code. A correct code opens a session that lasts 24 hours.
Bookings and payments
- We keep a record of each booking: dates, number of guests, destination, dining plan, quotes, status, payments received, and any change or cancellation requests and messages.
- Card payments are handled by Stripe on its own payment page. We never see or store your card number. Stripe's use of your information is covered by the Stripe privacy policy.
- Bank transfers are matched to your booking by a payment reference. We see the sender details our bank shows us.
Guest details
- Before your trip you give us your guests' names, dietary needs and requests.
- Dietary needs can include allergies, which is health information. We use it only to plan meals and keep guests safe, and share it only with the management company and crew.
- Please share guest details only with your guests' permission.
Bookings through a broker
If you book through a charter broker, the broker shares your details with us, and we handle them under this policy. The broker's own privacy policy covers what the broker keeps.
AI assistants
- When you use an AI assistant (for example, Meta's Muse) to book, the assistant sends us your information on your behalf and receives our replies, including your booking details.
- What the assistant keeps is governed by the assistant provider's own privacy policy, not this one.
Who we share with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with:
- Our payment processor (Stripe), to take card payments and issue refunds.
- Our email delivery provider, to send sign-in codes, booking emails and contact form messages.
- Our email marketing provider, to keep our client contact list and run the website's email list.
- Our hosting providers, which run the website and the booking service.
- The company that builds and operates the booking service for us.
- The yacht's management company and crew, to prepare and run your trip.
- Our professional advisers, and authorities when the law requires it.
Brokers see our availability calendar. It receives only the dates the yacht is booked, never your name or details.

- Analytics: Google Analytics keeps visit data for up to 14 months.

We protect your information with reasonable security measures, but no system is completely secure.
Children
- You must be 18 or older to book.
- The adult who books may give us details of children in the party (names, dietary needs and requests). We use them only to run the trip.
