These terms cover the Allegra website and booking service, and set out our standard booking rules.
Allegra is owned and operated by Resolute Wind LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("we", "us"). These terms apply to our website, www.allegra-yacht.com, and our booking service at api.allegra-yacht.com, including bookings made through an AI assistant. By using either, you agree to these terms. "You" means the person booking.
Your charter contract comes first
- Every charter is governed by a written charter contract signed by you and us.
- Where your signed charter contract differs from this page, the contract wins.
- A charter waiver is also required, in addition to the contract.
Who can book
- You must be 18 or older.
- You are responsible for your whole party, and for the guest details you give us being accurate and shared with your guests' permission.
- We work in English, and all prices and payments are in US dollars.
Charters and prices
- Charters run 5 to 7 nights. Seven nights is typical.
- Charters start and end at Village Cay Marina, Road Town, Tortola, unless a relocation is agreed.
- We keep at least 48 hours between charters, so some start dates may not be available.
- Up to 8 guests.
- Current rates, dining plans and fees are on our Rates page. Your quote itemizes your price.
- Charters of 5 or 6 nights are priced from the weekly rate, as shown on your quote.
- Holidays: a charter that includes 25 December pays the flat Christmas price. A charter that includes 31 December or 1 January pays the flat New Year price. A charter that includes both pays the New Year price. Holiday prices are the same for any number of guests and nights, are not reduced for shorter charters, are Full-Board only, and start and end at Village Cay Marina.
- Relocation: charters in the US Virgin Islands or St Martin / St Barths carry a relocation charge, once per charter. St Martin / St Barths also need 48 hours of transit before and after the charter.
- A mid-charter cabin change is available for a fee, and must be written into the contract.
- Not included: crew tips (customary at 15 to 20% of the charter fee, at your discretion), travel to and from Tortola, premium wines and spirits, and anything else your contract lists as extra.
Payment schedule
Unless your charter contract sets a different schedule:
Booking 45 or more days before boarding
- Pay a 25% deposit. Your dates are not reserved until it is received.
- We send your charter contract within 7 days of the deposit. Please sign within 10 days of receiving it.
- Pay 25% within 7 days of the contract being signed by both sides.
- Pay the final 50% no later than 21 days before boarding.
Booking less than 45 days before boarding
- Pay 100% up front. Your dates are reserved as soon as it is received.
- We send your charter contract as fast as possible. Please sign within 3 days of receiving it.
For every booking
- Dates are reserved only once your first payment is received. If two clients pay for the same dates, the first payment received wins, and the other is refunded in full.
- Send your guest details (names, dietary needs and requests) no later than 21 days before boarding, or as soon as possible for late bookings.
Paying
- Two prices: every quote is for the payment method you choose. Paying by bank transfer includes a discount for direct booking off the card price, and your quote shows it.
- Card: through Stripe, at the card price.
- Bank transfer: at the bank-transfer price. Include your payment reference. A transfer counts once we confirm it has arrived.
- The payment method you choose applies to every payment of your booking. To change it later, send us a change request.
Changes and cancellations
- Before the contract is signed: you can cancel for a full refund of everything paid.
- After the contract is signed: send us a cancellation request. Any refund is at our discretion, in line with your contract.
- Changes: send us a change request. We will try to accommodate it, but cannot guarantee it, and it may change the price.
- Missed deadlines: if a signature or payment deadline is missed, we decide whether to extend it or cancel the booking.
- If we cannot reach you: after a missed deadline, we may cancel the booking and keep 25% of the charter price.
- If we cancel: you receive a full refund of everything paid. Storms and other events outside our control are handled as your contract sets out.
- Refunds are made by hand, to the way you paid: card payments through Stripe, bank transfers by bank transfer.
- We recommend trip cancellation insurance.
On board
- The captain has the final say on safety, including the route, anchorages, weather and the use of water toys.
- No smoking anywhere on board.
- Zero tolerance for illegal drugs. If they are found, the charter ends without a refund.
- You are responsible for the conduct and safety of children in your party.
- Each guest needs a valid passport, and a visa where required, for any country the yacht visits.
AI assistants
- You can use an AI assistant (for example, Meta's Muse) to book and manage a charter for you.
- Anything the assistant does in your signed-in session is treated as done by you.
- Sign-in uses one-time codes sent to your email, and a session lasts 24 hours. Keep your email account secure.
- Your booking status with us and your signed contract are the record of your booking. We are not responsible for mistakes an assistant makes in relaying information.
- The assistant provider's own terms and privacy policy apply to the assistant. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Using the website and booking service
- Information, prices and availability can change. Nothing on the website is a binding offer until you receive a quote and sign a contract.
- Photos show the yacht and experience, but details may vary.
- Please do not misuse the website or booking service, for example by trying to break in, overload it, or reserve dates you do not intend to take.
- The text, photos and videos on this site belong to us. Please do not reuse them without permission.
- The website and booking service are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by using them, such as a temporary outage. The liability terms for your charter itself are in your contract.
Law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, and disputes about them are heard in the courts of Wyoming.
- Your charter contract has its own governing law and dispute rules, which apply to your charter.
- We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Updates do not change a contract you have already signed.
